Geert Rigters, puppeteer and Performing Arts Practitioner
About Me

I am a Performing Arts Practitioner

I am based in London, UK.

As a multi-disciplinary artist, I work across theatre and film puppetry, stilt walking and live performance. I also design and engineer custom (electric) props using 3D printing, custom PCBs and a variety of microcontrollers.

Aside from my artistic work, I also provide live theatre captioning services to make theatre more accessible.

I currently work with Little Shadow Productions in New York to help deliver their TV Puppetry Academy, hosting their classes and leading the practice and play sessions.

With over a decade of experience working in theatre I always welcome a new challenge.

I am currently working on a few solo projects, both puppet shows as well as street performances, as well as collaborating internationally with artists across the globe to create new and exciting work. I am always looking for new collaborators and organisations to work with to further grow my practice.

Whether you are looking for someone to consult on a project, deliver workshops or classes, provide novel entertainment at your event or develop custom solutions to a specific problem, I am happy to assist.
